12月16日, 2020 – As part of its 临床项目, Harvey Mudd College commits to at least two social justice projects every year. During the 2020–2021 academic year, the Department of 数学 partnered with the Community Environmental Health Action Team (CEHAT) to provide data analysis and education about air quality and the impact on the health of residents in South Gate, a city 12 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.

Working with staff from Advanced Concepts and Technologies, 组39, the group of five students set out to create a way to model and test synchronization of wireless systems, which require aligning the time of digital clocks down to the nanosecond level.
